Terms and Conditions

  1. We aim to have all items delivered within two weeks of the order being received, if at the time of an order being placed we are out of stock we will contact you to advise of this and suggest an alternative lead time.

  2. Items are sent via an external courier who will liaise with the buyer of goods directly regarding delivery at the consumers address. Items will be delivered, and all packaging left with the item. Please check over items on arrival before signing for the goods, Any damages must be noted at time of delivery and noted on delivery paperwork. ANY DAMAGES MUST BE REPORTED WITH SUPPORTING IMAGES IMMEDIATELY TO LOCH NESS FURNITURE AND UPHOLSTERY.

  3. Items without damage can be returned but the sender must pay return shipping, Items must be returned using a furniture carrier and not a standard postal/package method. Items will only be refunded if the items are returned in a perfect condition, The customer returning the item is wholly responsible for the safe return and condition of items

  4. Loch Ness Furniture will refuse any items returned that are not in perfect condition, Only once we are happy of the condition on the item on return will we issue a refund, we may charge a restocking and repacking fee of £25 which will be discounted from any refunds owed.

  5. Our Harris tweed is all small batch made and can differ slightly between batches and rolls, slight differences in colour, visible flecks and slight pattern variation are a completely unique characteristic of the Harris tweed and are not classed as defects.  Our 100% aniline leather hides are dyed and waxed only with the natural characteristics being left visible. Our leather hides will differ in colour tone from hide to hide, visible and different markings including stretch marks, insect bites and scarring can be present on the hides and are not to be classed as a defect, we cannot guarantee a perfect match in hides over different panels on items as the hides will take on colour in different ways, We cannot guarantee a batch match between different items of furniture.

  6. WE RECOMMEND ALL OUR LEATHER HIDES ARE TREATED WITH LEATHER PROTECTION CREAM PERIODICALLY AND NEVER CLEANED WITH ANY PRODUCTS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ANILINE LEATHER, ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO LEATHER BY MISUSE OF CLEANERS IS DOWN TO THE END USER AND LOCH NESS FURNITURE WILL TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGES OR ISSUES ARISING FROM THE MISTREATMENT OR INCORRECT CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE PRODUCTS BEING USED. WE RECOMMEND THE FURNITURE CLINIC FOR CARE AND MAINTENANCE PRODUCTS AND ADVICE.

  7. Our seat fillings are a medium firm reflex foam, the foam will break in and soften slightly within the first few months of use, please allow time for the foam to break in.
